| MISSION: | CAIC was formed in the early 1980s by a number of religious communities who wanted to pool their resources in order to make investments that support positive social change and promote alternative economic structures. | ||||
| SERVICES: | CAIC provides alternative financing for community-based projects in the form of loans, mortgages and equity investments.( ie. women & youth shelters, affordable housing, worker cooperatives, social service initiatives.) | ||||
